How to install Fuse Boxes

Fuse box position

The white one is on the left,
The black one is on the right.
In both cases, the one with double terminals is on the bottom.
Fuse numbers are from the left when viewed from the front sied.

Purchase mini blade type fuses

・Please refer to your car manual and purchase the necessary fuses.

FYI

Right: black base
8,8,8,8,8,8,25,25,25A

Injection type;
Left: white base
16,8,16,16,16,16,16,16,16A
Right: black base
8,8,8,8,8,8,16,16,16A
*Please check them for yourself just in case.

Please refer to this site to check the type of fuse. Please choose ‘Mini Blade Fuse (ATM)’.

Note: There seems to be no mini-blade type fuse suitable for 8A or 16A. In that case, I think you can use 7.5A or 15A alternatively.

Installation procedure

1) Disconnect the battery negative terminal.

2) Number the connector terminals to the fuse box.
If you remove everything at once, you won’t be able to tell which is for which. In order to avoid this situation, you should write it down properly with a marker or something.

3) Remove all connectors
I think it’s a good idea to avoid the connectors to the extent that you can understand the positional relationship to some extent.

4) Remove the left and right screws securing the fuse box.

5) Remove the old fuse boxes.

6) Just in case, check the positional relationship of the bus-bars.
The bus-bar is the copper plate located on the back of the upper side of the fuse box.
Viewed from the front side, from left to right i.e. 1⇒9
Left: White base
1-2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 (carb type)
1-2, 3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 (injection type)
Right: Black base
1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8-9 (common to carb and injection)
*I have carefully checked the product before handing it to you, but if it is incorrect, please contact me first without installing it.

7) Install the fusees in the new fuse boxes.
I think it would be easier to do it first. (You can do it later.)

8) Screw the new fuse box.
The base size of the fuse box is the same as the original, so it should fit in without any problem.

9) Refit the connectors to the terminals of the fuse boxes.
It might be a good idea to put them on before tightening the screws.

10) Replace the battery terminals.

11) Insert the key and turn it. Confirm that there is no problem.

12) Try starting the engine.
